Book Your B2 PreparationTo apply for a UK Health and Care Worker visa, you must pass a B2 Secure English Language Test (ISE II) from a UKVI-approved provider. This applies to doctors, nurses, healthcare assistants and other medical professionals sponsored to work in the UK.
The B2 ISE II tests all four skills — Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing — at upper-intermediate level. This is more demanding than the A1 or B1 SELT required for family and settlement routes.
