The B1 Secure English Language Test (SELT) is an officially approved English test required by UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) for applications for Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) and British Citizenship (Naturalisation).
At B1 level you must demonstrate intermediate English across Speaking and Listening skills. The test is conducted by an approved provider such as Trinity College London (GESE Grade 5 or ISE I) and your results are reported directly to the Home Office — no paper certificate required.
